Modernizing traditional food, one dish at a time.
Love salmon and I am embarrassed to say that I have never had nish-nosh salad! But it looks incredible (and very creative of you!!). I am always looking for new ways to prepare salmon, so I am definitely giving this a try!!!
You can search google for Nish Nosh salad to find the recipe. It’s great, but I like the salmon even more!
Any suggestions of what I can replace those chips with since we are wheat free?
You can use some chopped nuts instead. Or maybe rice crackers?
How do u check the fresh cabbage for bugs?
I’m no Rabbi so I don’t like to make these type of recommendations. Best to check with your LOR!
I did not have nish nosh crackers so I used Pereg American bread crumbs. It was delicious!!!!
I love that idea! Thanks for sharing!
Looks delicious! If I want to skip the salmon and just make the NishNosh dressing, is the recipe the same as for the salmon marinade?
Hi Peaya, no it’s a little different. Just search google for Nish Nosh Salad and you’ll find the recipe.
Would love to win the cookbooks
My favorite oassover dish is my great aunt idas veggie kugel
Passover is more of a challenge as i have been a gluten free vegetarian for 10 years
Wow. You are amazing cook and baker. I love Zukini especially zoodles. Thanx for your menu for Passover. I have oxo spiralizer. Was debating if I should get one for Passover. Thank to your menu ideas I will order spiralizer for sure. Yummy. Yummy. You are an inspiration. Thankyou.
if I’m making it in a 2 pound salmon and not filets would I bake the same amount?
For a whole side of salmon, I usually bake about 20 minutes.
I just prepared this recipe – it looks so beautiful! And in my mind will be delicious! Thank you for this idea, and your presentation is lovely. I’d write after I tasted, but the day is moving along, and no matter the candle lighting time, it’s usually the Wild West at the last minute – and so I’m thanking you now!
