{Guest Post} Apple Turnovers

Hey guys,

Since Chanie’s computer is out of commission, I’m filling in for a day with one of my favorite quick and easy recipes. I love to bake but I don’t always have the time. This recipe uses frozen puff pastry (I love Pepperidge Farm’s), which allows me to cut down on prep, but not taste! I really enjoy these, and I hope you do too!

PS Dont tell Chanie I told you, but she likes to use these ready-to-make frozen apple turnovers. If she ever serves them to you for dessert, just make believe it’s my recipe ;)

  1. Dina – I love love apple turnovers – and make a version of these quite often for Friday Night Dinner – Except mine a sweet and savory – Using the same recipe you just posted – I add some shredded chicken and fried onions to the apple mix – Skip the drizzle -and serve – Delish! thanks for posting – keep it coming :) Sarah

    1. Thats great Chanie! You can definitely freeze these, but it must be done before you bake them (minus the egg). When you are ready to make them, just eggwash and bake in a preheated oven until golden.
